bupo: Ok. I love this shot. But I really have to bite your head off here. Why do you leave it untitled with only a number? I'm sorry, it's really a pet-peeve, but personally I think it's important especially for photographers that they realise themselves how unique and important their work is. It's not just a title-less number, it's not just a random shot, it's a very well considered and very sharply observed facet of this world that will never occur exactly like that ever again. Know that and make sure your audience knows it. End of rant. Fantastic shot.
didn't get a chance to comment on this in TH so i thought i'd leave it here.
i really love this...it's a unique shadow shot, not the normal that is somewhat common. the comp is perfect, which i think, really makes the photo. the tones are just right, nothing blown out or anything. and of course, the birds eye view is just fantastic. i love it!

excellent shot. Excellent tonal range. You did a great job of keeping the delecate texture and tone of the stones while maintaining the contrast of the shadows against the rest of the scene. You can actually see the slight differences in darkness of each of the stones. It adds a layer of complexity to an otherwise simple composition. +fav
